Hi! I’m Mary Tappert.

For nearly a decade, I’ve worked behind the scenes of corporate compensation, helping organizations make decisions about pay, job levels, market data, and employee value.

What I learned is that many talented women are playing a game they were never taught how to play.

They work hard. They deliver results. They take on more responsibility. But when it comes time for raises, promotions, or new opportunities, they are often left wondering: Am I being paid fairly? How do I know what I’m worth? How do I ask for more?

The truth is that compensation decisions are not based on effort alone. They are influenced by market data, positioning, timing, business needs, and how effectively you communicate your value.

I created my coaching practice to help women understand how compensation really works so they can confidently advocate for themselves, make strategic career moves, and increase their earning potential.

With my background in corporate compensation and my passion for helping women recognize their value, I bring both insider knowledge and a practical, human approach to career growth.

  • I'm a Virgo and Manifestor. This means that I’m great at making a list and getting things done to my high standards. I love to get things started and have an impact on the world around me.

  • I started my career working Financial Planning where one of the best lessons I learned from my clients is that is doesn't matter how much money you make, it matters what you do with that money.

  • I spent 10 years working in Corporate Compensation covering all things base pay, bonus, and equity. I loved being able to impact the financial lives of so many people.

  • I live in Seattle, WA with my husband and 7 year old daughter. I love to work on house projects, travel, and move my body (hot girl walks, pilates, and lifting heavy). I recently started taking a pottery class.
